Turkish wedding ceremonies differ quite a bit from American ones, and we plan to combine the best of both. We won’t have a wedding party, but we will have witnesses. In a Turkish wedding, the bride and groom walk down the aisle without preamble (but accompanied with fireworks), then sit down at a table and sign a contract. For our wedding, we’d like a little more ritual than that. Both Turkish and American weddings highlight the bride and groom’s first dance, but afterward we’ll visit each guest and collect gold coins, Turkey style.  We won’t have fireworks, but we will have vows. Also a wedding cake and a sword, maybe.

I thought that I was going to have to sacrifice quality in the screen if I insisted that I stick to a notebook computer. In the past I have had a laptop and while I do think that it is a great deal it is still way more computer then I need when I am on the go. I was comfortable in giving up the quality in the screen because again, I only needed the computer when I was away from the office. But then I saw the Samsung n510 and I realized that I do not have to give up anything in the image after all.

Bonnie has been trying to receive disability for survivors of military veterans. She had thought that it would be automatic because her husband was serving in Iraq when he was killed. However, it has been a struggle to get any benefits. Bonnie decided that she needed to find an attorney that was familiar with Charleston veterans disability benefits. She had been trying to do it on her own, but there seems to be so much red tape and she is not getting anywhere. Bonnie is going to see an attorney on Monday. Her sister, Paula is going to go with her for support.
