With all the Twilight hoopla that is out there today, it is interesting to see how people are beginning to view vampire novels. Although vampires have always been a fun subject and there are a plethora of vampire novel authors out there, many seem to have forgotten this fact. In a local survey, most Twilight fans did not like or have not read Dracula or an of the Ann Rice vampire series. Also, many people who have been fans of vampire literature were not impressed with the Twilight books. Many fans seem to be more carried away by the craze than the actual subject of vampires.
