I’m just not impressed with the Smart Car.  It’s just too small to be on the road as far as I’m concerned.  It’s not that the car isn’t safe, but it just doesn’t look like it handles well and it doesn’t appear to be able to withstand a side impact very well at all.  So what do you do when you want to save money on petrol.  There are a very cars in the supermini category that I quite fancy.  The Mini Cooper is a wicked little beast of a car and so is the VW Polo.  I think German engineering wins.
