Even if it would not be required by law I would still need and want car insurance.

The reason why that is the case, the reason why I really need car insurance whether or not it is required by law are not my own driving skills - not even my own car is the reason why I need it so frantically. The true reason are all the other road users.

Just today there was this old granny jumping on the street because her precious kitty was on a run - probably being wary of its next cuddle harassment. Nobodody could have expected that and if it would have happened 1.75 seconds later I probably wouldn’t have been able to slowdown in time.
