To protect themselves and their small business advice business employers might just be thinking of the per employee advances in expense assignments by federal government. The more employees your have the more danger these costs might outstrip business income. For me it does not seem that especially lifelong government employees can associate costs with profits which drive the business and its success or failure. Unlike government private business must control costs and especially in the last two years the threats government mandated per employee costs have risen and threaten to rise even faster. The uncertain future costs which have been added or proposed by Obama Administration leave many small business taking the safe road and shrinking numbers of employees and not adding new as these threatened per employee costs threaten. Government can not run small business because government can not control costs in a per profit arena These doubts are costing thousands a chance at employment.
