Importance of getting the best domain and hosting service
At my old hosting provider, I suffered through a long ten day outage where one of their servers failed. I understand that things happen, but it does not take ten days to repair a fried server. Even worse, they were unable to restore any of the data. Even an earlier version of my website from one week ago would’ve been helpful. I lost hundreds of dollars because I went with the absolute cheapest option instead of getting the best domain and hosting service. Because of this experience, I had to move my website, which was a painful process, to a better hosting provider.
