Now that my daughter has started driving, I would like her to have a way to contact me if she ever gets into car trouble. But since I don’t want to get her a cell phone, I’m thinking about setting up a prepaid plan with no contract unlocked cell phones. She could keep it in the console, and then only use it for emergencies. I think it’s a good idea, and if everything works out, I may get an extra one to keep in my wife’s car as well, since she doesn’t have a cell phone either. It’s good to plan for the unexpected.
