When my disability claim, and subsequent appeal, had been denied, I decided to pursue an unim provident lawsuit proceedings.  It seems that I am not the only one pursuing such option as I have seen in the news that thousands of policy holders of Unum Provident and its sister companies are named as defendants in various lawsuits all over America.

 

I have religiously paid my insurance premiums with my hard-earned money because I thought that the insurance policy I purchased will help in my time of need.  I knew that there is a possibility that I could have an accident or be stricken with an illness and I want to be prepared for that.  And I was so frustrated when Unum Provident denied my insurance claim.  I have a family and I am going to protect my right to get what is due me.
