After last week’s fun with cleaning out the gutters, I called the contractor who installed the gutters and asked him about something that could keep leaves and other junk out of the gutters. He told me about gutter guards. I loved them, just for their ability to keep stuff out of the gutters. I’ll never have to clean them again! But my wife likes the idea of rainwater collection. Recently she’s gotten on this disaster preparation kick and apparently if the electricity goes out, rainwater will be our main form of water so she wants to start collecting it now. She takes things a bit far sometimes, but I love her anyway.
