Raised Bed Gardening, Great For Cold Northern States
I have to tell you, gardening isn’t a very enjoyable hobby up here in the Northern parts of the United States when it gets cold and the ground gets hard. That’s why raised bed gardening has become so popular, the beds aren’t just useful, they’re also attractive too. Vegetables, fruits and even some flowers can be grown in raised beds and because the soil is above water-logged areas, there’s better drainage and even higher yields. That means more vegetables! My neighbors use temporary beds so they can garden when Winter comes, but I prefer the more permanent types, much easier to use and maintain!
