On Thursday afternoon I was driving towards Los Angeles after taking a business trip up to the Modesto area. One thing that I was a little concerned about was the fact that I had been hearing the weather reports over the radio and my cell phone that they might be closing the grapevine. The grapevine is the pass that takes you from central California down to Southern California. Sure enough by the time I got to the bottom of the grapevine the CHP was directing traffic to wait. While I waited there I listened to a radio show host talk about laser hair removal results. I had a feeling I would be there for a while.
