After struggling for several years over the age-old “what am I going to be when I grow up” question, my youngest daughter recently decided to pursue a degree in graphic design. She knew her biggest challenge would be juggling her role as a new Mom with that of being a college student. After checking into several options, she was thrilled to find that many colleges now offer an online graphic design degree. The flexibility of being able to complete her classwork around the baby’s schedule offered her a solution that has allowed her the time to be a great Mom and a great student.
