Work toward your goal with a speed training drill
For sprint runners and other athletes who are focused on speed, simply giving it all you’ve got until your head finally pops off is not going to get you where you want to go anymore. You need to take up a speed training drill, and when you master it, take up another one. These can include warm up drills, leg drills and arm drills, as well as a few drills you shouldn’t try, and these are also worth knowing about. Running involves the entire individual, not just the heart and legs. Once you know drills, you can always return to one or more of them during performance slumps.
