Abu Dhabi still doing well
The press has made a big deal of the recent financial problems in Abu Dhabi but as a resident here I can tell you from personal experience that Abu Dhabi is alive and well. Billions of new dollars come into the region from all of the oil sheiks and companies. Last time I looked oil prices were still strong. I have a friend that recently took clients on Abu Dhabi yacht charters and he said that all of the big wigs were still very confident about the future about Abu Dhabi. What makes the region so unique and desirable is the beautiful beaches and ocean and stable non religious government.
